These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Individual entrepreneur Volha Budzko ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the TalkCards mobile application and related services (the "App"). Please read them carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

What you should know at a glance

• TalkCards offers an auto-renewing subscription. Unless cancelled, it renews automatically and your Apple ID account is charged. You manage and cancel it in your App Store account settings — see Subscriptions.
• The App provides conversation prompts for entertainment. It is not professional, medical, psychological, or relationship advice.
• Some provisions below apply only to consumers in the EEA/UK (for example the right of withdrawal). These are marked.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, if higher) to use the App. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement and that you are able to enter into a binding contract.

2. Licence to use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except to the extent that such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

3. Subscriptions, free trials, and billing

The App offers premium content through auto-renewing subscription plans (for example weekly and yearly), sold through the Apple App Store and processed by Apple.

• Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of the applicable plan.
• Free trial (where offered). If your plan includes a free trial, any unused portion of the trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it converts into a paid subscription and your account is charged.
• Price. Current prices are shown in the App before purchase. We may change prices for future billing periods; Apple will notify you and, where required, seek your consent before a renewal at a changed price.
• Managing and cancelling. You manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions (App Store account settings). Deleting the App does not cancel your subscription.
• Restore. You can restore an active subscription from the paywall or the App's settings.
• Refunds. Purchases are processed by Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. Except where required by law, we do not process refunds directly; refund requests are handled by Apple (https://support.apple.com/billing).

4. Right of withdrawal (EEA/UK consumers)

EEA and UK consumers may have statutory withdrawal or cancellation rights for digital content and services. The availability and exercise of those rights depend on applicable law and on Apple's purchase process, since App Store purchases are made through Apple. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights. Refund and withdrawal requests relating to App Store purchases may be submitted through Apple's available support channels (https://support.apple.com/billing).
